Yoast SEO 18.5 and Yoast SEO Premium 18.3 are out today. These last couple of releases have all been focussed on fixing issues and adding improvements that enhance the performance of the plugin. In today’s releases, we’re keeping with that trend and adding another round of fixes and enhancements. Find out more!
Fixes and improvements in Yoast SEO 18.5
Yoast SEO 18.5 and Premium 18.3 come with a list of bug fixes, including the one with the incorrect numbering of XML sitemaps that popped up last month. This should work properly now and no further action on your part is required. We’ve also included more improvements to the rebuild of the AIOSEO importer we introduced in Yoast SEO 18.3, and we make sure that we properly validate the data before importing.
In Premium, we fixed a bug that prohibited us to display the text in the estimated reading time block in the site language. The estimated reading block is one of the content blocks for the block editor you get when you subscribe to Yoast SEO Premium. In this case, it lets you automatically calculate and display the estimated reading time of your content. That makes your pages user-friendly, and it increases the chance people stay on your site!
There are more fixes to be found and you can find all of those listed in the change logs of Yoast SEO free and Yoast SEO Premium.
